The story
Epipole is a medical technology company that have created the epiCam, a ground breaking hand held fundus camera that uses Video Direct Ophthalmoscopy to capture live high-resolution video and still images of the retina. It transforms how eye care specialists are able to treat their patients. The task was to rebrand the company, promoting the multitude of benefits the epiCam has over existing, large desktop, static image technology.
The project encompassed everything from brand identities, tone of voice, visual look and feel, positioning statement, campaign messaging and guidelines. The product campaign itself was designed to position epiCam as the next generation in retinal healthcare and patient care.
Two concepts were initially presented and both loved. The second was then chosen to position Epipole within the veterinary industry. Named retScope, this is the first of its kind for Vets, transforming how they view the retina. As a result, a different positioning statement and campaign messaging were created.
