Hand safety campaign

The story

Got your attention? Well that was the idea when Weir, a global engineering company asked for a safety campaign to help reduce hand injuries. The purpose of the campaign was to empower employees to stop and think before they progress with any task, drawing on their training and actively assessing any potential dangers.


Creating the title ‘Hand safety, finger tips’, this was a high impact, multi touch-point campaign with targeted safety pointers. Along with digital screens and an information leaflet, I created task specific reminders which were placed at relevant places around the factory.

As an additional incentive to generate further engagement a ‘High Five safety award’ was set up. Awarded to departments who were reducing hand injury incidents.
